    Planning ahead - there are many ways to make your arrival easier. Why not check if you’re eligible for an International Current Account in Sterling? This would enable you to access your salary and make payments immediately.

    Our London Expat Service is a single point of contact for you to find the specialist advice you need. It’s available by phone but if you’re going to settle within easy reach of London why not take advantage of a face-to-face appointment? These can be booked in advance so you can be sure that your finances will be looked after from the moment you arrive.

    Your tax - As a new arrival in the UK, it’s important to quickly understand your tax status both in your home country and in the UK, so you can operate your international bank accounts in the most tax efficient way.

    All of our Premier and Private Banking customers are eligible for an initial tax review with specialists EY and get a preferential rate for their services.

    A helping hand - Getting established in the UK is much easier with the right connections. If you're moving to London, a face to face appointment at the London Expat Service can help you get settled in as soon as possible, making introductions to the wider Lloyds Banking Group to help you access International and UK banking services. The London Expat Service is provided by Lloyds Bank plc. To be eligible for the London Expat Service you will need a sole annual income and employment benefits package of at least £100,000.

    Everyday banking - You'll need a bank account as soon as possible to receive your salary and make payments. Depending on your circumstances, you may be able to open an International Current Account in Sterling, US Dollar and Euro with us. Eligibility criteria applies.

    Making overseas transfers - Whether it's for sending money to relatives, paying bills or receiving rental income from back home, you might need to manage international money transfers in multiple currencies. Eligibility criteria applies.

    We won't charge you for making international transfers from our accounts and our foreign exchange services can help you manage currency fluctuations.
