Investment strategies
  • RRS Multifund MultiManager (MMM)

The underlying philosophy is that no single fund manager can consistently be the best across all markets, all of the time. We invest in a range of investment funds in order to diversify risk within the portfolio.

Investments are made in all asset classes and all markets, in line with the investment strategy of Lloyds Bank International Limited.

The MMM Portfolio offers you three different investment profiles, which will be dependent upon your individual risk tolerance

    • Conservative
    • Balanced
    • Dynamic

    RRS Classic

The Classic Portfolio is a Relative Return Strategy, designed for clients who seek relative out performance through asset diversification and disciplined stock and sector selection strategies.

Our approach relies on understanding your personal risk tolerance, defining your asset allocation and actively managing the selected asset allocation, sector, duration, credit allocation, stock and bond selection.

The Classic Portfolio offers you three different investment profiles, which will depend on your individual risk tolerance:

    • Conservative
    • Balanced
    • Dynamic

    RRS Investment Profiles

    Conservative Profile

This strategy is suitable for the investor only willing to take a degree of risk and accept there may be fluctuation in capital value and/or return.

There will be some exposure to international equity markets which could lead to foreign currency exchange fluctuations and the investor must accept volatility within the portfolio. The strategy is aimed at investors who are willing to invest for a period in excess of 5 years. This strategy may be used to create the potential for steady capital growth to help offset the effects of inflation.

    Balanced Profile

As its name suggests, this strategy will suit the investor looking for a balanced approach and willing to accept a higher degree of risk. The strategy is aimed at investors who are willing to invest for a period in excess of 5 years. With this balanced approach, there is the potential for capital growth to help offset the effects of inflation. A proportion of your capital will be placed in fixed interest investments and alternative investments in order to offset the short to medium term volatility of the equity component and help to reduce overall volatility within the portfolio. There will be exposure to international equities and, therefore, exposure to foreign currency fluctuations.

    Dynamic Profile

This portfolio strategy offers capital growth potential over the longer term for the investor who has a high tolerance to the risks associated with investment in international equities and foreign currency exposure. It is therefore important that the investor accepts that this profile could involve periods with a high degree of fluctuation in the value of the portfolio. As a consequence, a commitment to an investment period in excess of five years is fundamental. This is a higher risk but potentially higher return option when compared to our other strategies. It is suitable for the more adventurous investor who is willing to accept significant volatility in the value of their portfolio.
